Initiatives to Combat Climate Change, Toward the Realization of RE100

Murata Manufacturing aims to "achieve social value targets" and "realize a sustainable society" by setting a target of using 100% renewable energy as the ratio of electricity used in its business activities by 2035*. The following introduces the three initiatives Murata is currently pursuing: "introduction of renewable energy," "introduction of energy conservation systems," and "Murata's New Challenges. *In September 2024, we announced that we will bring forward the date to achieve RE100 from 2050 to 2035, and set new carbon neutrality targets. As a result, there are some changes in our targets for FY2030 onward.
